Meguiar’s Smooth Surface Clay Kit instructions:

1. Wash the Vehicle:Remove loose dirt and grime to prepare the surface for claying.Dry the car thoroughly.
2. Shape the Clay:Knead clay bar into a small disc that fits your hand comfortably
3. Lubricate the Paint:Spray the included Quick Detailer onto a small section. Do not let it dry.
4. Remove the Contaminants:Slide the clay bar back and forth over the lubricated area, applying light pressure. You should be able to feel it grab. As you remove contaminants, the bar will glide smoothly over the paint.
5. Wipe and Check Results:Use the included Supreme Shine Microfiber towel to remove residue. Feel the surface, it should feel slick and smooth. If not, repeat the process until it does.
6. Fold Clay to a Clean Side:As clay gets dirty, fold it to expose a clean surface. Replace if dropped or it becomes overly contaminated.
7. Repeat Process:Continue working in small sections until you have completed the entire vehicle.
8. Apply a Protectant of Your Choice:The surface is now ready for a wax or ceramic coating. If you notice micro scratches or swirl marks, consider polishing the paint first to achieve the best finish.
